Just some random stuff for the weekend, Sinn gets mentioned a few times on the forum (hopefully not enough to acquire fanboy status!) so here's a link to a .pdf comparing two of their most utilitarian and tech laden watches, the U1 and U2. The prices have changed since this article and here are now more options in finish (PVD bezel for the U1 and PVD bezel and case combos for the U2 - the PVD is also hardened as describe in the article)

Next a few pics for interest - first up cross section view of the case and crystal of a few Oris watches - not too sure which but one is the MasterDiver apparently. I've ot seen a cross-section pic so thought it may be of interesting...





Finally - here is a Bremont Super Marine (500m) which has undergone pressure testing to failure - the three tested all failed at around 1500m, which surprised Bremont as much as anyone. Anyway - stock pic plus failed case -
