Hi all,

I keep getting flashed by other drivers, prob because my headlights are set too high. Can they only be adjusted by the little bolts on the light itself or is there another way?

I have the same problem, do your lights light of the trees and sign posts really well to the left and not so much to the right? they can be adjusted as I have mentioned this before, but I have not got round to adjusting them yet.

Lift the bonnet to get to he adjustors, they're the white crosshead screwthings down in little holes in the top metal piece over the radiator. As you can tell, I've got a good command of all the technical terms, but I don't know what they are called! L.O.L!

Yep you got it! Beam definately seems higher on the left. I've often seen badly adjusted single lights on cars but I reckon both of mine are too far up.(somehow)

so whats the best way to find out the correct settings for the lights, ie park 3 ft from a wall amd measure from floor up to centre of beam, anyone know what that might be?

My beam doesn't seem exceptionally long or high. I may just wind it down a tiny bit and experiment. Like you say just park in front of a wall and make a few marks then drive and see how far the beam has dropped. If that's no good I'll get a garage to do it on there beam adjuster thingy.

Sean, I think they work with the window heater. Probably just a fuse if it don't work.

Don't think they are heated, changed my drivers side for a wide angle mirror recently and no wires attached, don't think cars in Aus require heated mirror's !! hehe

Possibly rofl rule of thumb going forwards.......if it comes from Aus and it's needed in the UK, it hasn't got it fitted. hehe
