About halfway down the page

http://www.totalkitcar.com/news.php#1840

I spoke to the owner a few years ago about the possibility of my becoming the UK agent for his very nice MGTF replica, based on the Mazda MX5. In the end I didn't follow it up because I didn't think the numbers worked. He sells the kit more or less completely assembled, minus the MX5 parts, and the price at the time struck me as too high for the UK market.

I guess if the manufacturing operation was moved over here it could work though, maybe as a conventional kit, though.

Or it would be a good excuse to emigrate to New Zealand

The seller started a thread about that a couple of days ago, which I presume got deleted

Strikes me as very expensive bearing in mind it doesn't include the bonnet or any chassis jigs

The R2 project was first advertised for sale in September 2008 (or perhaps even slightly earlier). Is it still for sale?
