needing 325i engine

i have a 1992 325i auto coupe, 1992-1998 model

desperate for an engine at a reasonable price, if there is anyone that know's a decent place to get a recon or has a 325i auto for sale, let me kno.

any help, i'd be greatful

it was registered on the 31 dec 1992, i've had a few people offer cash for it but u kno whats its like when u want to hold onto a car, i will concider any decent priced engines, either reply to this or send pic's to [e-mail]

No. E46 is a double Vanos engine with a completely different engine management system. The E36 325i is either non Vanos of single Vanos depending on the date of manufacture.

It would be more trouble than it's worth to try and fit it.

525i has the sump in a different place to clear the subframe.

hi, try a company called tcs in high wycombe, helpfull bunch of guys, i braught a second hand 325 block from them. l know they have several engines for sale. well worth a try mate. good luck. (even try your luck on ebay)
