Discussion
Hi.
Just finalising the purchase of a Tuscan 4.0.
The car was first registerd in November 2002.
I am aware that there is a perception that some engine componentry was improved from around 2003 onwards.
Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain the chassis(VIN)number from when these improvements were implemented.
Kind Regards.
Steve..

Build records were never TVR's strong point, so very un-likely. When the factory was still open they could tell you if the engine had been re-built, but not much more. Thanks for the reply.
Thought it might be a long shot.
Most vehicle manufacturers operate ' MODEL YEAR' policy whereby improvements are usually implemented from a start chassis number.
Accepting that TVR was never a volume manufacturer I still believe this information lies somewhere archived away.
Back to the drawing board as they say..
