Who would you like to become the F1 Commissioner

Inspired by the thread in Autosport.com forums.

One of Todt's plans for F1 is the appointment of an F1 Commissioner to oversee the sport. Who do you think would be best for the role?

All of the above (except A. N. Other) have had extensive experience in motorsport, in or out of F1, and experience in managing their own racing team or business.

My vote is for Berger. He is a successful F1 driver (at Benetton, Ferrari, and McLaren), owned and managed an F1 team, was a director at BMW, and runs his own logistics company. Adding to this well-rounded background is his amicable personality and respect within the F1 paddock.

I voted Prost but quite a few of those people on the list i'd like to see appointed (Steward, Lauda, Berger) would all do it pretty well i'd imagine.

To be honest I think its more likey to be someone with the initials MS....although I'd rather see him in a car next year

given tham the news specifically said the Schuey supproted the appointemnt of JT I suspect that he is in the running too.

I voted for GW.. Not because I know of his business skills, rather I just chose somebody who is less of a public figure and someone who will do the job by being seen and not heard or spanked.

Cant we have Eddie Jordan, he knows everyone, all of the drivers have worked for him, and I seem to remember that if only circumstances had been different, hw would have had a championship winning car every year they existed.

Some folks might be dreaming, but at least they're dreaming about people who haven't been dead for 20 years!

He was a pretty special guy. Probably had too much class and integrity to get involved with the FIA - certainly with the FIA of the recent past and likely future.

What about Damon Hill? He has the experience as a driver and of being involved behind the scenes, plus I think he'd provide a steady hand and show no allegiance to any particular party (other than the British GP which would be fine by us!).

Otherwise from the list I'd go with Berger.
