Goldthorpe, Nr Barnsley?

Hi all,

Got a project coming up with work in Goldthorpe.

Whats it like round there?

Do i send one of the newer more presentable vans, or one of the old bangers that will be wanted by any locals!

No idea what the area is like, so after a bit of info from those in the know.

Also, is the Woodhead pass the best way to get from Manchester to there?

Forgot to add, yes, the Woodhead is the best route, unless its in the depths of winter....

Old, and if u have alloys on the old one even, take em off or someone there will do it for you!

We have an office at Goldthorpe at vandalism used to be a problem at night. During the day cars have always been fine.

When I bought a sandwich in the town centre i got the impression that the only people they see in suits are debt collectors and undertakers!
