Celebrity owned cars
Discussion
Would a car previously owned by a celebrity put you off buying?
Whilst I was looking for my Gallardo I came across a car that was previously owned by a footballer, the seller seemed to for some reason think that this was cool. It instantly put me off, I cant imagine a footballer really looking after a car that well, hard driving from cold etc. But then again perhaps no expense would be spared as they have plenty of cash to spend on it.
I have just noticed a Gallardo for sale and it says the previous owner was Wayne Roony,

now this would put me off, what about you lot?

Couple of friends of mine have bought ex celebs cars. One is Ashley Coles 360 Modena, the other car belonged to Alan Shearer. The cars were well looked after with all there history in tact. The plus side is that they both had very professional ICE installs in them
Just because they are celebs makes no difference IMO. As we know there are many many no celebs that abuse there cars. Roll the dice baby, its your game to narrow down your game. I dont thing a celebs car makes any difference as long as its all in order. Would you have a problem buying an ex Ferrari that belonged to Jay Kay, Chris Evans, James Martin or Nic Cage;)

Not at all.I am sure you cant put all footballers into the same catergory, but alot of them dont have a reputation of being the most inteligent people. I would imagine a footballer buys a Lambo/Ferrari for it's bling factor. Can you imagine them checking the oil every 500 miles, or waiting for the engine to reach the correct temperature before booting it. It is I know the luck of the draw on alot of occasions, but x footballers car would put me right off. A footballer could probably buy a new Lambo with a weeks salary, he is not going to respect it as much as say someone who considers £100k to be alot of money. And has worked hard to earn it.

Like i said i know many who buy there cars and dont look after them, regardless of not being a celebrity. But if thats how you feel then "hey ho".
Whats this about checking oil? 500 miles you say;)
I check my oil every 500 miles, just to be sure. Maybe I dont need to so often, but better to be safe. Gallardo's seem to drink oil.Whats this about checking oil? 500 miles you say;)
So you'd be happier to buy a car who's previous owner is a complete unknown, rather than one who's owner you have some sort of idea what their personalities like?.
As for not seeing a footballer checking the oil every 500 miles, that can apply to anybody who owns a car. Just because they can afford an expensive car, doesn't automatically mean their an enthusiast who gives a s
t about it.

Cheryl Cole's R8 (is that a supercar?
) was up for sale recently, I'd have bought it and sniffed the seats.
Thank god I'm not the only one. That means you also dress up like Cheryl and video yourself kissing the mirror whilst covered in molten Galaxy Chocolate just like me? Right?

they are super loaded so can throw money at anything
they dont crave bad attention, that gets them into trouble so less speeding, wreckless driving.
There are several plus points
