so last week I bought myself some training rollers from Dave Kane cycles in NI!

Arrived yesterday - assembled and tested today - first 5 mins a bit scary - you have to re-program your brain to start with but then I did an hour - brilliant - just what I needed!

which ones did you get?

Ive got some of Elite - V-Arion Parabolic Rollers with resistance

Scared the pants out of me the first time I got on the rollers in 20 years.
But after a few sessions its exciting enough to keep you awake unlike the narcoleptic turbo experience

I was on the turbo last night. Decided to stand up to stretch my back and forgot I'd positioned it in a different place to usual as there was stuff in the garage.

Cue Fluoro tube / head interchange.

Still, turbo session ended early - not all bad!

I got some tacx antares parabolic ones and after two attempts left me flat on my back in a heap I quickly brought the front brace. I'll have to get much better balance before I transfer off them.

Those two are good for warming up but as they have little or no drag they aren't ideal for a training effect.

Key thing is to make sure the front wheel axle is behind the centre line of the front roller, otherwise its like riding on ice.stick with it and you become adept at riding them.

watch this demo of how easy it is (not) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wME5NTriTco
