S-Type 3.0 V6 Lacking power
Discussion
I won an S-Type 3.0 V6 on ebay last night and ive just spoke to the owner arranging to pick her up. Whilst on the phone i asked if there were any problems i should know about and he said that it feels like it lacks in power at around 90mph. Now obviously i would never travel over the speed limit
but i dont want to go through with the deal if the car has underlying problems. This was not mentioned in the description. I'm going to look/pick her tomorow and im taking my laptop to do a diagnostics check but does any one have any ideas as to what could be causing this?
Any help appreciated.

The best thing you can do with your lap top is find a local indy to help you .
You won`t be able to do anything without the proper diagnostic tooling .
Basic EOBD is not enough. auto logic or WDS.Happy to look at it here if you wish.
If its the right money these cars are really good buys. Plenty of them in specialist breakers and if it is f
ked simply buy another 2nd hand engine, cost around a grand. There`s a good chance its nothing major. I`ve just had a 3.0 in for service at 207000 miles.
