Interior mods started!

Nearly at the end of the project, just the interior to do, so i am posting some before and after pics, new carpet already down with floor covered in Dynamat, decided to go for black carpet to give some contrast.
The seats and door cards get started on monday so here are the before pics, all going well i will have the finished results pics by the end of the week, only doing subtle alterations though, they just needs some detailing with silver double stitching.

Because of the drive over to Cyprus it has taken me a while to post the pics of the interior mods, but here they are, again these are taken with flash on so they look much better in real light but they give a good idea.
All i basically did is square off the edges of the setas , pick up with some stitching and do the same on the door panels, only very subtle mods but very effective, really makes a difference to the quailty feel of the interior.

The speedo and tacho are easy connected and calibrated but the water temp gauge and fuel gauge require senders and a 9v regulator, PeterGuk fitted mine in 2 hours and bypassed the silly ECU program so you get a real temp reading, which sorts out another problem with the original gauges at the same time, and they are much better lit on a night time.
You still get the same false fuel reading though, when it shows empty there is still 20 litres left in the tank, nothing you can do about that without changing to a VDO side/bottom mounted tank sensor.

You say the quality feel is better, have you upgraded any of the usable/functional stuff (indicator stalks, windscreen wiper bits etc) or is it all cosmetics?
For me the intermittent wipers drive me batty and would love to upgrade to variable and also looking at re-modding the centre console with a different look, maybe fit satnav dunno yet but defo would love electric windows. Probably pipe dream stuff, but if you've looked into it let me know :-)
