Hired this for 5 days in San Diego last week. Avis have plenty of them in V6 and V8 SS versions. Drove through Yuma, Phoenix, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Zion Natonal Park then Las Vegas for a few days. Off-hired at LAX.

Spectacular drives in a great car. The Camaro is even better in the real world than the pics can convey. All the controls are tactile and easy to use. Brakes are fine, even on a base model V6.

The locals had plenty of admiring comments, it felt like it was pretty new on the scene, there.

Loved it.. much better than the Mustang I hired in Florida 2 years ago.

The steering is usual Stateside vague/over sensitive. If sold here I'd expect the usual adaptation to our style of handling.

When will we be getting it in RHD?

I hired one in July in the US - only a V6 and TBH it wasn't a very exciting or well made thing.

They look absolutely great though!Got stopped for speeding (80 on an empty freeway at night, thank you long range radar....)the State Trooper was knocked out by it and cheerily let me off without penalty once I let him have a sit behind the wheel!

You bet she enjoyed it, she drove plenty..

Quite a smile factor to hear the locals admiring and asking about it.
