Deposit paid and now awaiting delivery, should be around the 2nd week in Feb which will give me time to test prior to the start of the 2004 season. Anyone else got their orders in ?

Tony.

Yep, should get mine about the same time as you, if not before (beat you to the deposit bit) :-) What colour did you go for - was it red?

Yellow with blue splitters, of course :-) I've gone for headlights too - wonder how long they'll last!

Thought long and hard about headlights but there are no plans for any night races so the extra £876 + vat for lights seems a bit extravagant IMO.

Actually, it was only 450 quid extra as if you don't pay for headlights, you have to order brake lights separately. If the SR4s prove significantly quicker than the Clubsports, there could be plenty of lapping to do, and headlights might come in handy.

Actually, I just thought it looked better with lights... :-)

It does look better with lights but you have to think of the extra weight you"ll be carrying having them fitted (well I do), having said that, they have raised the minimun to 555kg all up now !!!
2 weeks to go, can"t wait...
Are they delivering yours adrian ?
Picking mine up then straight to snetterton to shake her down.

Tony.

The car is up to 550 kg? I thought it was more like 450 dry. What do the options weigh?

Tony - dunno when I'm getting mine, but I've just booked for Guadix on 19th-20th Feb, so hopefully before then :-) Woody is handling it all really, so I'm leaving it in his capable hands, which is particularly handy as I'm moving house in the next couple of weeks as well!

Options weigh:

Driver: 87kg
Drivers clothing & helmet: 3kg
Oil: 5kg
Water: 5kg

Or something like that...
