I have a 2000 E39 530d tourer, it currently has a set of aftermarket M6 replica 18's, which although nice to look at as I live in a fairly rural area are not really suited to our pot holed lanes.

With winter coming I wanted to put something more stock on for better driveability, I've been offered a set of 16" E39 'turbines' that are mint with virtually new tyres 225/55/16's which I've checked & were a factory options tyre.

My question is, the turbines are from a '96 525, are these the same as would have been on a 00 530d tourer or were they made with different spacing/offsets?

Thanks

You Will be Fine with the Turbines, These Style Wheels were only ever fitted to the E39 Range of vehicles.............Worth noting that the Bore size (on the Hubs) of E39's is Different to all other BMW Bore sizes!..(74mm 0n the E39's,,72.5 on nearly all other BM's)............Dont ask me why, it's just an annomoly with BMW!

Good luck, Phil

Turbines are great looking wheels I just wish they were a little bigger, when funds allow (my 528 has cost me over a grand in work this month) I'm after some 17 or 18 inch alloys.
