In-form Kettering Town held at home.

Lacklustre showing annoys boss Mark Cooper : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/k/k...

The village pub and the covered terrace, just about enough room for one man and his dog, at Paulton Rovers awaits the Norwich City invasion.

A life-changing experience' - that is how Paulton Rovers boss Andrew Jones has described his heroic side's forthcoming FA Cup tie against Norwich City.

Zamaretto League Division 1 South & West outfit Paulton - the lowest-ranked team left in this year's competition - are set to appear live on Sky TV after being drawn at home to the League 1 high-fliers in the first round proper.

And Jones admitted he was pinching himself at the thought of his minnows taking on a club which has reached the FA Cup semi-finals on three occasions.

"I still can't believe it, it's an incredible draw," said the boss, whose side have already dispatched higher-league Newport County and Chippenham Town to reach the first round proper for the first time in the club's history.

"It is one of the biggest games we could have got and we are at home so we could not have asked for anything more.

I think the best result for Paulton would be a draw and a replay back at CR for a decent pay day.

Anything can happen, it's the FA cup, having said that it is a difficult tie in a compact ground and it won't be easy.

Stafford Rangers.

We got knocked out to a team Called Coventry Sphinx. Went to there place anticipating a win, we drew 2-2.

We then lost 3-2 at home!

They then drew Bedworth town who beat them (They haven't won a game in their league all season!) They got knocked out away at York.

Ah well, we got knocked out in the first round qualifiers last season too.

hehe

It's always good to live the dream, R34 although realistically the routes through the FA trophy and Vase are the best bets for non-league teams for a day out at the twin towersWembley. You are still in the Trophy, aren't you? biggrin

Yeah, we haven't been drawn out yet though.

There's also the Staffs senior cup for us.

In the last year or two I've become very involved at Poole Town FC, as a supporter. On the pitch they won a non-league double, the Dorset Senior cup and the Wessex Premier title, although they couldn't take advantage of being promoted as they play on a school field. Off the field I help a good friend, who is the commercial director, with various marketing ideas that will help promote the club and hopefully support their planning application for a new ground.

Poole Town also helped bring through a talented striker called Charlie Austin who scored 46 goals in 46 games last season. He's now moved on to Swindon Town and should soon be making a name for himself in League one soon - a name to watch out for.

Come on Lowestoft Town!

Gloucester City at home tonight in a reply (2 leagues higher) so a bit of a challenge!

Wrexham await if they win...that would be massive.
