Just seen the trailer for this - by gum i do like a good disaster movie, and this looks like a beaut!

Something to do with the fact that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, so everything goes tits up.

Mayan calendar, or another environmental band wagon film. Check out who it's made by! Watch their previous films! Save yourself a night out! Maybe it will be good, but just can't see it being more than a boring CGI'fest

Apparently, like Godzilla, Independance Day and The Day After Tomorrow, this too is an Emerich Turkey.

I saw a review of this by someone who'd had a preview screening and who said its an 'effects film' with a ridiculous story line and plot holes the size of Arizona and that it'll be trashed by all of the critics once its on general release.

Shame - I had high hopes for this one.
