I wouldn't worry, it won't happen - what you don't see reported in the press (yet) is how panicked supporters and beneficiaries of MMGW are scrabbling around as the whole 'convenient lie' unravels. However, it's not all good news, expect another topic (worthy of taking away your hard earned money and human rights) to quickly fill it's place (a population in fear, is a population in control etc...). yes

Do you not think they say "we'll need to charge 3k per car" so that when they introduce £500 per car, we think, phew... Whereas in truth, they are just lying scum needing to fill the black hole caused by incompetent Governance.

Cunch of bunts the lot of them, may they all die slowly and painfully from cancer.

And I do not wish that lightly on others - I have lost loved ones to that disease, and no decent human beings should have to go through such pain.

These people do not qualify as "human beings", so I'm OK.

Have yo ever head of a government actually implementing a new tax and making it neutral by cutting other taxes?..not exactly likely given the fiscal situation. Net will be that the total tax bill will inevitably rise.

Easy taxtation to fill the black hole created by Bliar & Winky

Motorist = Easy target.

Lets say the fuel duty increase does come into force. How many companie's are going to hit the wall?

The UK's motorist's would need to unite and not fill up at the pumps for lets say? 2weeks?

I'd like to think such action would see a revolution, but this isn't France! hehe

Havent the goverment just been paying people extra money to buy new cars?

And now they're talking about charging them more to buy new cars?

Make your mind up.

We will become a country like Malta where majority of the cars on the road are very old due to the expensive local taxes applied to new cars. This makes the situation worse because new cars tend to be more efficient and less polluting but people stick to their old bangers because they can't afford a new one.

At some point, if they squeeze people too hard, there will be some nutters come out of the woodwork and start killing them.

MP's, Non-Jobs, Quangos, etc.

I'd chip in for the bullets. thumbup

I've got a swiss army knife and a Gerber multitool I would be willing to chip in, but I would want my binoculars back when you're finished with them.

I'd like to see the lot of them on a chain gang building roads. Actually this should apply to all civil servants.
