Just been having a look at a flat online and it says the overall size of the holding is 72.5m2, now I am obviously thinking about viewing so will be able to answer this question myself but before I go I want to get an idea of the size

Can anyone give me a comparison for 72.5m2 ? Is this a good size for a flat?

Roughly 8.51469318296m x 8.51469318296m if square or any other increment to make up 72.5m2 floor space if not

2 bed, in fact looking at it again, very similar in layout to the one illmonkey posted, just not so sure about the area at the moment, at least I have an idea of the room sizes now

My flat is 880sq/ft, which is deemed large for a 2 bedroomed flat by most people (obviously not in Pistonheads land though, where any flat under 2000sq/ft is seen as hardly worth living in... wink) 780sq/ft is a large 1 bed, or average sized 2 bed.

Well yes obviously and I would need somewhere to park my MX5 and remapped 335D wink

This is the one I am looking at http://www.gumtree.com/london/63/46364263.html

Like I say just not to sure about the area, but at least it seems ok sizewize then (in a non PH way)

It's only after having lived in Dubai for while that I notice when I go back how little the UK properties are.

My old 2 bed apartment was around 1,500sq/ft and wasn't considered large at all. Really high ceilings as well.

If I had to move back now to something of that size I'd have to flog half my furniture!
