Xbox 360 - Which games to get

I've just treated myself to an Xbox 3060 elite, because it was a bargain - £129.99 with 2 controllers and a couple of games.

What games to people recommend, Forza 3 looks like being my first purchase, but what else is good?

If I was you i'd just stick with forza 3 until call of duty modern warfare2 comes out next month

There's been some pretty good games over the last 6 months or so. This is just personally, but I love COD4 (as Kitch said, COD Modern Warfare 2 coming out in Nov), Dirt 2 is a good game, just for fun, Gears of War 2 is brilliant, and theres some fun games on the marketplace as well.

Tbh, if you're getting Forza 3 straight away, then you're pretty much going to be playing that non-stop up until Modern Warfare 2 is released, by which time, you'll have added stress in making the decision of which of those 2 amazing games to play.

Only games i play are forza 3 and Call of Duty. Kids play lego starwars and thats about it.

Ohh...Gears of War (2), if you like that sort of thing is good. And Guitar Hero is great for parties.

In fact, if i lost the lot i'd replace GH, COD and F3 and be quite happy.

as above....the price of online versus the fun of on line is tiny.

If you see them cheap all of these are worth a go:
Fps's / Action shooters:
CoD4 (or wait for MW2)
Fallout 3
The Orange Box (Half Life) - the best value game you will ever buy! 4 games on 1 disc, all brilliant.
Bioshock
Gears of War 2 (a bit better than 1)
Grand Theft Auto 4

Driving: Forza 3 is all you'll need!

Other:
Batman Arkham Asylum
IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of prey.

Also, check out the Live marketplace. You can download demos of most games to see if you'll like them. It's free. Your broadband provider will start to hate you though!
