Proper Girl rock bands

Ok my husband and I are having a discussion on what is the best girl rock band - he likes Vixen!
I like Powder Just see the video for Up here and you men will love it!!! plus I feel the best female rock woman is Melissa Auf De Maur My fave being Followed the waves.
What do you think and give me other female rock bands. And I want proper rock not Pop rock!!!!! Could do with other new rock bands!

I like Powder too. Their live show looks like good fun. I only stumbled across them recently because the guitarist from the band has been doing reviews of vintage and rare guitars for a shop called Fretted Americana on youtube. They're well worth a look if you're interested in guitars.

I'm liking 'Let Down' very much. I always thought Pink had a superb voice waiting for some decent songs to be written for it.
