I've just been given an O2 Xda II with Bluetooth, following a Blackberry trial of which we didn't like when using it as a mobile phone. Anyway, its all very nice, bells and whistles and all that, but what i was excited about was using its internet function whilst on the hoof (Pistonheads on the train )... BUT ITS SLOWER THAN A LIMPING DOG!! Are all GPRS WAP conections like this? Definitely slower than my home dial-up.

I believe most phone based internet works out at around 40k... so 16k less than a home dialup.

You're having a laugh aren't you. In the UK you'll be lucky to get 19K.

GPRS is marginly better than GSM.
