Hi everyone, I am pretty new to the area and am looking for a way to move my 944 Turbo from my driveway in Egham to Fusion Motorsport. It is only 6 miles!! I can't hire a trailer as I don't have the tick my liscense so was planning to get my Dad to pop up saturday and rent one which I can tow behind my Landy but I can'f find a hire place that will let me collect and deliver it back on Saturday morning apart from one which is down in Alton!! I don't think I can actually pick it, get it home, load the car, deliver the car and get the trailer back before 12am.

Does anyone know of a local chap with a trailer who would do the job, a hire place that are more helpful or some such?! I tried some online 'we'll move your car' and they wanted 180 quid to take it 6 miles. I would better off buying a trailer and selling it on again!

Many thanks

Andy

There was a garage that I used, at the back of Egham, when I moved my Phaeton.

I'll dig out their details. They charged me £40 for a similiar distance.

Phone the AA and tell them you have broken down. Ask them to relay the car to your preferred local garage.

Simples!
