Not me. I'm pretty sure the world doesn't revolve around the Daily Mail.

Awesome!

Though they all seem to be girls helping him, aren't boys interested in making model planes anymore or has the world moved on since I was a lad (actually I still make kits now, but that's irrelevant...)?

You obviously haven't read enough comics in your youth.

It's "Messerschmitt" for a start and no proper German would ever say "peeg" (that's Mexican bandit speak). A German would say "Die, Englander schweinhund",

The smell of Humbrol enamel was half the fun. Why have they gone to acrylics?

PS Acrylic model paint is also rubbish, IMO.

Some countries don't allow the sale of enamel paints to minors (although there is no such restriction in the UK). However, the newest acrylics are pretty good. I find the Hannants range (Xtracrylics) excellent - especially when airbrushed. They come in a fully authentic range of shades for the major armies and air forces.

Also, Hunbrol enamels are no manufactured in China (where else) and they don't seem to have the same covering power as the old paints.

That's exactly what I've found.

Well I can't say for certain I'd have been able to spell Meserwotsit at age 8.
