what size for trackday tyres
Discussion
Haven't tried any of those Yoyos coz I heard they send you all over the place but the Toyo Proxies I use seem to work OK
(Five laps of Spa and they have to come in for a cool down though)
ETA I've heard a lot of peeps swear by 888s but - depending om your Track Day experience - You might be safer (at this time of year) with rubber that you already know which has a more regular traction characteristic

I agree with Paul. The Proxies are fine in the normal sizes if you are an occassional track day bod, and the R888s are great if you are a regular.
I happen to have 265s on the rear of mine (Proxies) which is great in the dry, but a little trickier in the wet.
If you are a regular though, a number of the die hards have a seperate set of wheels, and often 17" size.
