Does anybody here have any experience with Air Asia X, flying from the UK to KL? I know my way around KL LCCT airport, but the Air Asia flight lands at a different terminal and you have to get a bus. I just wondered how long it took to get to the main hub?

Any experiences anyone?

If the flight from the UK lands at thre international terminal and you need to get to the LCCT, they have mini buses running every 15 minutes or so from one to the other, its easy.

If your talking about how long it takes to get to KL city then its about the same as if you were in LCCT, although you dont have the train service from LCCT only taxi's (rip off) or coaches, about 10RM (2 pound) for 40 minutes air con ride.

From the LCCT don't teven ry to come in through the main terminal, it is the otherside of the runway, and about 10 KM aroun, then you have to get the train 35rm each. ( a taxi is only 56rm for three people).Either get the bus from the LCCT, 8 to 10 rm per person, or get a taxi. Taxi is OK if you buy a ticket, if you negotiate then it will be around 70 Rm, which is same as two people on the train. I can PM you the number of a limo driver who I use who will meet your flight for 90 RM.
I don't understand why any one takes the train to come into KL, going back is diffrent as the train is reliable, but as I say it is more expensive than the train unless you are on your own.
Post your thoughts on Air asia X, I've looked at using them, but while I've found Airasia good, I've only heard bad report about the London flight, and it is no cheaper than the middle east options.

Thanks for the replies guys, I was just looking into as an option as Air Asia are pretty good usually, but the reports online seem not so. I quickly ran through air asia to get the final price and all the extras are a joke. My plan was to fly from London to KL then catch another air asia to take me home to Bangers.

I'll stick with skyscanner I think and take the usual route.
