Some random VW piccies
Discussion
Just been going through some photos getting re-organised and re-discovered the wonders of photoshop.
I seem to have loads of VW photos, so thought I'd post up a few for your viewing pleasure. Some need more work, others I'm happy with straight from the camera.

i take it both of these have had a lot of post processing in PS?I seem to have loads of VW photos, so thought I'd post up a few for your viewing pleasure. Some need more work, others I'm happy with straight from the camera.

Im new to the game and wondered how you achieved both of these effects.
First of all making only the subject in colour and secondly blurring everything bar the subject!
Answers on a postcard pretty please!

Very nice mate, i didnt realise you took any; they look good. How was the drive out on sunday anyway mate ?
Yeha mate, it was a good drive out. The guys in the red van came along, but they snapped the key to their Corsa in the door and had to get recovered by a breakdown company. Really bad luck. There are some more photos in the thread on UKMKIV's.

Think I've seen that red Rallye down this way.

It's my brothers; he lives in Yorkshire but is forever taking all over to VW shows, so you may well have seen him about.
Just looked at the photos in your profile - they are amazing! Makes me wish I'd not posted these!!! Hahaha

Both were just done with layers. Get your photo into PS, duplicate layer, add effects to the top layer (ie black and white, or radial blur in this case), then you use the eraser to take out the subject from the top layer, this then shows through from the layer underneath (ie subject in colour or focus). Im new to the game and wondered how you achieved both of these effects.

Hope that helps!
