Ceramic tiling over sound Marley tiles. Can I....
Discussion
...use electric underfloor heating as well.
It seems from the internet that straight on the residual bitumen glue is a no-no. But there is no one who has asked if you can get away with it if the original tiles are left in situ. I dont intend to use the UFH as a primary heat source, just to take the chill off the tiles.
Any thoughts?

I found mine came up really easily and didn't leave any glue to speak of. As my floor tiles have been down about 5 years I think they would have lifted now if there was an issue with small amounts of adhesive remaining. I'd recommend you take them up as the tile adhesive won't have a 'key' to grip onto anyway.
No, I didn't, but my thoughts are that you won't get anything to stick properly to the Marley tiles anyway regardless of heating or not. It took me about 15 minutes to life my entire living room floor of Marley tiles (6m x 4m approx) using a wallpaper scraper to start the edge of the tile. The glue seems to stay on the tiles and not leave more than a slight stain on the concrete, although we laid an Engineered wood floor in there, the preparation would be the same as for tiling.
