Not really.
Croft circuit is offering less trackdays now due to noise restriction.
Tesside is fairly close but I am not sure about car hire. I've never been to Tesside autodrome so cant comment on the track.

Teeside is a great karting track, but it would need a fairly small agile car to enjoy it.
Have you been on one of the trackdays & experienced the cars there?? Porsche 997 GT3's, 968's 944's, Lola T70, Exiges, Elises, Caterhams, Westfields, Minis, GT3 Cup racecar, radicals, .............. Maybe you need to try it before you give an opinion!!! Have a look at their forum, and see if there are any negative comments,...... it's a bit like sex, don't knock it until you've tried it!!!!ginettajoe said:

Knockhill may actually be quicker to get to?
Could that depend a little on where you're starting from perhaps?

But that's no problem. The main thing is that the track is wide enough for cars. Don't go there expecting it to be on a par with Oulton Park, Donington, Silverstone or Croft, it's not! But it is a perfectly good venue for car track days and it's two-fifths of the price of most!
