i bought a small jar of manuka the other week for a fiver. a normal sized jar was £10. does this cure aids or something as it doesn't taste much better than a pot of generic honey.

Its supposed to have healing properties. Something to do with the bushes around where the hives are.

It has certain antibacterial and anti infection properties and is very good for people with IBS plus those with any related issues. Expensive stuff though. The extremely strong UMF 30 stuff is around £30 a pot but you only need a small amount per day.

It is just honey. Buy it if you like it.

i had expected some sort of taste sensation for the price, but its not that great. guess i should look at these things in future.
