I was watching something on a news related programme the other night regarding those dispicable cheating parents who wanted their kids to get into the best schools in their locality - Outrageous 
The part of this story that had me out of my seat shouting at the tele was:
The authorities have stepped in (cue me thinking, at last, they are going to throw a load of public money at improving the schools and increasing the numbers of quality teachers to cope with the influx of kids), but NO.
Instead, they have launched a new group of 'Life Nazis' to watch over and scrutinise all the schools and parents to ensure that no-one is attending a school that they deem outside of their catchment etc, indeed this particular council were actively taking people to court for infringements!
For god sake - What the hell is the matter with this world when you cannot have just one person turn round and say 'Oh, hang on, couldnt we actually spend that money to improve the situation' - rather than then go and employ another group of civil servants to reak havoc and seek revenge for anyone daring to try and improve their kids education.
I appreciate that this rant is sadly lacking in any
