Thought this might be of interest to some people...

I've just heard the Ford Kent engine block is going back into production in the States, with the specific intention of supplying it over here for Formula Ford. I know they're still relatively plentiful in scrap yards and the like, but that may be of interest to anyone with, or contemplating, a X-flow car. They could be around for a little while yet...

There was an article in last weeks Autosport confirming that the engine was being made available

Original Ford press release

They seem to be saying that they are putting Kent engine blocks back into production. If you're expecting to be able to buy a complete engine in a crate, you might be disappointed.
