Carbon Centre Roof

Hey guys,

I am thinking of upgrading to a later style MK1 all in 1 roof.

2 questions really:

1) How much would you expect to pay for a roof from a breakers?
2) Have seen a few white cars with a black centre in the roof. I was thinking what would carbon fibre look like? Anyone good with photoshop could maybe do a quick one on my car? Thinking it will tie in well with the carbon on the exhaust sleeves. Might save some cash on the painting cost is my thinking and may look quite cool...

Yep, I'd agree not normally a huge fan of 'flip' paint but it looks fantastic on your car, a black roof would spoil the effect.

I've been thinking of getting some carbon bits but want to try modding a picture first.

The bits that I think would look good in "naked" carbon would be the front grille, splitter and rear spoiler (S spec). I think these bits would look good in Carbon to go with the exhausts as they're all "aero and performance" parts that actually serve a purpose.

What are people's thoughts on this? Anyone fancy doing a photoshop edit?

I was thinking the same

Mk2 winglets in carbon fiber and an S spoiler. However I perfer the Mk2 spoiler but I think thats part of the boot.

If anyone wants to get a group buy together for carbon Mk2 type front grills then count me in. I'm after some carbon seat backs as well.

I'd be looking for Typhon/T440 style grilles as I think they look better. See my profile pic for an example.
