I'm currently looking at two LW's, and one RR. One of which I'll be dragging half way around the world to NZ. (Purely in an attempt to preserve the marquee by denying one Cerb salted / gritted English roads.... honest). One of NZ's blinkered regulations require sun visors for cars, as such I wondered if anyone has a shot of a Cerb with visors. I also wondered if the earlier visors could be retro fitted to a LW. Cheers, Daniel.

There are depressions in the fibreglass trim that fits over the windscreen that the sun visors are recessed into. I dont know if that part is the same shape on later cars. It is isnt it may be difficult to fold them up out of your sight line.

I removed mine when I did my interior refurb and decided not to replace them as they rob a little visibility and have nearly no effect as sun protection (presumably why they didnt bother on later cars) If you want me to make a template from them so you can have some made I can easily do so.

Thanks gentlemen. It might be like my rally car. Install them temporarily just to pass the NZ warrant of fitness, then they somehow fall off again. If I could still get a pic it would be apprecaited as I'll try and mock something up before my car lands.

My prev two cerbs hadsun visors. They had been removed on the 2nd refitting was a pain as I thought I would break something. On my later rr cerb they don't appear to have any fittings for them. So you will need to fashion something.

Gimme a chance and I'll take a pic of mine tonight.

I've got one from the outside, but I'm guessing you'll want to see how it's fitted.

The splodge on the drivers side one is I think where a previous owner tried to glue it up as it droops slightly. I read on here once about using velcro so I'm guessing it was that.

It doesn't bother me as I'm quite short, but it might be a common issue.

If it's just a temp measure, could you use something like these clip on ones, temp mounted.

Think I'll just have to double sided tape some to the windscreen for a Warrant of Fitness.... then remove them agian. I can't see them being any use anyway, being a letterbox view car and at 6'1" I'll be scraping the top of the ceiling anyway!

I had the same problem on sun visor gradually coming down especially on bumpy roads. If you get a straw (6mm size) and cut off small pieces they fit perfectly over the rods that hold the visors and stop them moving on their own. Regards Tim
