T350 prepped for track.....or Sag!?

I'm going to be prepping my T350 over the winter for next seasons sprints and track work, nitron 3 ways, buckets and harness' etc etc.
I'm now wondering, do I save the money and sell it to get a Sagaris?
Has anyone had experience of a properly set up T350 v's a standard Sag?
Dan Taylor is a friend of mine and has told me the Sag's chassis/suspension pick up points are higher and therefore it's cenre of gravity is physically lower. I'm now wondering if the Sag will be a better base or if spending a few quid in the right places will get my T350 to perform as well/better?

the only way you can lower the c of g is to move weight in the car or lower the car, changing the suspension pickups has no effect on the c of g .. however changing the pickups does move the roll centre relative to the c of g and so has effects on load transfer and camber changes which may or may not be beneficial depending on what you like. The wider track of the sag may also hinder you on tight narrow sprint/hillclimbs? I'd stick with modding the t350 ...
You are indeed correct. All I was trying to get across was that the vehicles mass sits lower in a Sag than a T350 when suspension angles are relative. The car should therefore feel more planted, but I'm after someones experience of both cars to confirm/deny if this is indeed the case.
Many of the seasons sprints are on open, fast circuits and not just the tight, naggery tracks so a wider track is not always a disadvantage. Goodwood, Snetterton and to a lesser extent Brands to name a few.

If I had neither and was looking, it would have to be the Sagaris. If you want to spend time and money, you will get the T350 to handle something like a Sagaris, but spending money on a Sagaris will up the anti again.

Yes I'm definitely looking in to it. I'm also looking to compete in the series my dad takes part in. Hopefully it'll give me some times to compare against!gilbo said:
