S2 Short tail Hardtop - tools required?

It is held in place with torx bolts. 5mm I think. The tool is supplied in the tool kit.
Good point well made. though watch out if it's an aftermarket bought hardtop (even from Lotus themselves) then it may not be there - but yeah, it's in the little pouch tool kit thingy.

Anyone know the best way to put this on, and what tools you need ?
I use a battery drill with the torx bit in, the tool supplied can be awkward to use, the drill is much quicker to get the roof off and put on once the thread is lined up. Hi Stu wonder if you might advise me please?
How are you getting on with your tyres? (ref: from another thread you posted on)
I need two rear 48's for my Elise SC but I'm not sure if I should change the four for winter tyres.
I use the Elise as a 2nd car and mainly at weekends and only on dry days. I intend to use it in the winter on dry days. Should I stick with the 48's in those circumstances? I'm thinking of the cold (but dry) roads in the winter and what affect that might have on the 48's. I'm also intending to do some track days next year.
Cheers BB
