As much as I hate to burst someone's bubble, we have two of these in our garden and they worked for a couple of weeks but then the little kitty presents started appearing again. My conclusion is that now the kitty's have gone deaf and are no longer bothered by the Big Cheese.

I am arming myself with a supersoaker 5000 this weekend.

Fill it with lemon sqaush, cats do not like citrus, and will like having to lick it out of their fur even less.

I'm glad i'm not the only one irrationally angered by errant garden-spoiling cats!

I've tried:

Mothballs,
Citrus gels
'Silent Roar' lion poo
Big Cheese (x2)
High pressure hose
Throwing anything at hand


Nothing works in the long term. The most effective has been the Big Cheeses, but after a while they become used to the noise and start again. I've tried speaking to my neighbour but she finds it amusing, so i've just taken to lobbing it back over the fence - if it's so funny, SHE can get it in between her fingers/toes when she goes outside!!

Next plan is, as mentioned above, a super soaker filled with lemon juice!
