As above is their any issue when you reconnect with the ECU ?
has anybody had a issues restarting after 4 month disconnection ?

any thoughts cheers...

Not much help on the subject but most cars dont suffer from battery disconnect unless they have "learning " ECU s , but the reason I replied is I notice you are in the north west ...any where near me in Blackburn ?

Should be no problem at all. Adaptive maps will be "zeroed out" but they are not necessary for starting/running/driving.

I suspect you are thinking of taking it off the road for the winter ? I'd not do that, much better to take it out once a week and whizz it around for a few miles. If you leave it stood about for too long things shivval up and drop off ( as with other things in life ).
