Hi,

I have found the M5 (E60) that I want to buy, has everything I want on it but also has the 'upgraded' M6 style alloys on. I have found some BMW M5 wheels for sale without tyres but I can swap the tyres off the M6 wheels onto the M5 ones.

So question is would I find the M6 wheels easy to sell without tyres or would I be better finding somebody to swap with, wheels, tyres and all?

PH only seems to have adverts for cars and not spare bits?

Which M5 wheels? If the are 19 and the M6 ones are 19 then you should be able to swap the tyres so long as the widths are the same. The older e39 M5 wheels were 18 inch so you couldn't swap the tyres in that situation.

I may be interested in a swap for my M5 wheels, are the M6 ones genuine?

Yes genuine M6 19" wheels, it's the only thing stopping me buying it right now.

Can you send me details of yours, tyre wear, kerb damage etc? Pictures?

Where in the UK are you?

I really like my M5 touring with it's M6 wheels, reckon the normal M5 wheels make it look like any other M-Tech 520 diesel...

M6 wheels on an M5 ruin the car IMO, even on a M6 they look totally crap..

The laquered finish & spoke layout just looks aftermarket to me..
