Hello people.

With my car in being restored, I am going to have my sunflowers refurbished. I know I want to go for a dark grey of some kind so please, show me your wheels if you have a similar colour and please let me know what colour it is. If I see something I like then match it.

Thanks in advance.

Guy

Ive just had my sunflower evo alloys reconditioned.. Was tough making my mind up what colour to go for and what would look best, and also tryin to keep it close to original as possible. Always thought the standard BMW paint was a bit dull and didnt do any favors for the car..! In the end i decided on sport 2 paint which is more shiney with new badges they look good. currently running her on some 5 spoke diamond cut and polished M3 wheels.. they look good too.. what u think?

Thanks Bob. They do look nice but I am having a full and unique colour change so I just don't think the standard silver is going to work any more.

Ah, Curborough - what a marvellous place! Long may it continue.

How did the BMW feel around there?

My alloys have needed reconditioning since I bought the car, and I've finally got around to having them done. I chose to go for a non-standard black finish, and I think that they look great. Spent this morning cleaning and polishing the car, and I'm really happy with the outcome.

£60 each for a complete balst back to bare alloy and powder coat. The finish is excellent. Can't wait to get the big red APs on there over Xmas. They will fill the wheels nicely, not to mention perform a million times better than standard.

There's a gaff in Hemel called Max Powder will refurb with powder coat for £40/wheel or paint in any colour you want for £50/wheel. Pretty good value that

it goes brilliantly round curborough, very technical track with little run offs so i tend to takr it easy, this year ive had 6 members track days and i can honestly say the little zm is just a beast.
