As title says. looking at getting one made, looking for good quality at a sensible price.

Edit - should have said north or west of Aberdeen preferred.

I don't have a real recommendation but the other day I saw this place in the pedestrian bit of George Street opposite John Lewis.

Cheers,

Aye, right enough. smile

The list of nick-names I had at school would take quite some time to type.

Our daughter's ones for school were made by Millsom & Main in The Galleria opposite Slaters on Bon Accord Street.

This is where I got mine. Kilt is fine but some of their other stuff isn't great quality.

As did I, first rate.

One tip.

We do not all stay the same size forever, i was told to ask for buckles with a greater possibility for adjustment (like a hire kilt) otherwise you apperently get just three holes and a short buckle.

I lost 2 stone between getting engaged and getting married. fking thing was too big for me! Had to get it altered (£100) and have now put that 2 stone back on irked

Wifes fault though.

Engaged = lots of sex = less exercise.
Married = less sex = less exercise.

Georgian Dress hire.

Just got my kilt from them. Great service, if you buy a kilt from them, they'll press and clean it for you.

Couldn't recommend them high enough.
