Afer reading the article it appears that the guy who got the good news was part of a gang of conmen or something like that and someone had been hired to kill him. Shot 3 times in the back of the head apparently. That's what I understood from it. Maybe someone with a better grasp of Italian could do a better job.

I love the way they say the women doing the scratch card besides him just walks away, ffs she didn't even flinch at the shots obviously she was not connected to the shooting in anyway then.............
