does anybody roughly know how much it costs for manned guarding / security patrol of homes

eg: hourly, daily or weekly rates

Bit of a length of string question. Depends on how good the security needs to be. Some guys - ex SF - charge hundreds per day. An old chap with a battered maglite will be considerably less.

How big is the property/grounds? And what are you protecting - if just piece of mind it will be very different to someone high profile needing the protection or a collection of antiques/cars worth millions.

Sorry, is that £320 + vat per night or per 7 nights? Coz if it's per night i'll be round with a nasty Alsation, a licenced shot gun (shooting rabbits officer) and an inbred chav nesbit that doesn't mind sleeping rough on your land who can spot a theif from 500yds. In the dark.

lol, jokers...I know there are many factors involved, but wanted a rough ballpark figure. I had a feeling it would be about £200 - £300 a night
