On behalf of a friend with a Chim 450, a question for the PH collective:

He does'nt rate his local TVR dealer much, so are there any independents between Swindon and Bristol area?

Could go to County in Cheltenham, but he prefers something nearer and around the M4.

Thanks

I'll second that about Peninsula - like them so much that they come and pick my Griff up from Bucks!

David Geralds are up at Inkberrow, not too far away.

I'm in Chippenham (about half way between Swindon and Bristol) and I use Peninsula in Exeter because my local dealer is... erm.... well, let's say "not good enough"
Peninsula, by comparison, are fantastic. *Very* friendly and helpful, and will pick your car up from whereever you are for a minimal charge (the cost of the fuel IIRC).

I have heard exactly the same as you about the "local " dealer in this neck of the woods.. I will advise said mate to either give Peninsula a call or take a trip up to Cheltenham to County TVR.

Thanks

If he goes up to County TVR, I'd be interested in what he thinks. I've not been there myself, and plan on staying with Peninsula, but it never hurts to know what others are like. Peninsula also have a deal going with a farmhouse B&B if I understood correctly.... you can pay a little more for your service, and make a short stay for a couple of days down by the coast....

You say "in this neck of the woods" -- where abouts are you?

Cheers,

Karl
