Hi

You'll be glad to know I have decided to hang on to the Diablo for a while longer so have taken it off the market.

However, I need to get a new front tyre for it - a P Zero 235/35 ZR18.

Where is the best place to get these from?

On the web I could only find it through tyre-shopper (who?!) for £200.

Also I assume its OK to change it on one axle only (I have a cut in the tyre wall). The other front tyre has plenty of tread.

Second question - if anyone has had their alloys re-furbed who did you use?

thanks for any help

I had all 4 wheels refurbished this week by www.reinventingthewheel.co.uk who are in Tewkesbury junction 9 of the M5. The total for all 4 wheels was £299. I dropped the Diablo off late Tuesday and collected it first thing Thursday morning. They have made an excellent job of them and it was hassle free.

I did however Jen subsequently had a problem where they'd painted into the wheel nut holes.... A wheel came off as they weren't sufficiently torqued

Hi! Wish I still had mine, especially as things have picked up and skintness is a few inches further away than it was 6 months ago..

Sold mine private and part of the deal was that I would supply the new replacement Pirreli's when they came into my tyre chap as they had been on order for a few months and where iminent..Took another six months or so and they have finally landed last week, apparently Pirreli don't make them that often so if you can get hold get hold! Christ knows what happens if you need em in a hurry (puncture)

try motorsport wheels - mswuk - they supplied a friend's lambo tyres - though there is a long lead time IIRC.
