Arghhh Search!

I know you have probably heard this plenty of times before but why is the search functionality of this site so naff.

It never seems to work.

I have been trying all day to search for a thread and always get the response no results are found. Do a search right now for aston martin and it says none. Even do a search for pistonheads and it says None.

I have also tried first thing in the morning at 05:00am when i expect the site isnt so busy and still no results.

I have to fully agree.
It just doesn't work anywhere near as good as normal forums.

I don't understand why my posts aren't logged much further back than 60 days in the 'my info' bit.

I agree that the search is due an upgrade, we are just very short on man power at the moment.

With regard to the "My Info" section, you can go back as far as you like, just keep clicking. (i.e. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem... or even http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem... )
