Just heard Bernie E. being interviewed on BBC News, something to do with Silverstone not hosting a GP. At one point Mr Ecclestone said "There are plenty of things I want but I can't afford..".

Anyway, I had this idea for a thread so I wiped away the tears of laughter just about enough to let me focus on my monitor, and here it is:

Please list all the items you can think of, that are for sale, that Bernie cannot afford. According to Wikipedia he's worth £1.466 billion. I'm expecting the shortest thread in PH history

You do know that just because he is worht 1.5billion££ doesn't mean he can buy something for that.

A massive %age will all be assets that cant really be monatised...especially in a short space of time.

Not that I would say no to the £1.5billion worth of assets!!

Good looks and a happy personality. It was rumoured a few years ago that Bernie was one of only a few people globally who could actually withdraw one billion in cash from a bank given enough notice and space!

His collection of cars makes Jay leno's look like an ordinary garage> His jets are pretty special as is his hotel in St Moritz.

We don't see half of what Bernie has, such as Auto Union F1 cars, Original Silver Arrows Mercedes and a massive collection of Ferrari F1 cars. A few years ago he was banned from buying by certain auction houses due to his failure to ever sell anything.
