After all the work that I`ve done to the griff I thought it only right that she had some new footwear, so with a full set of Falken 452`s went out for a spin and took some pics.

they were one of the few makes that can give the same ratings front and rear, dnb has had them on his griff for a while now and they have been very good, better in the wet than the Toyos.

Car's looking great Clive, not a fan of aftermarket or gold wheels as a rule but they look mighty fine

eta would be interested to hear how you find the Falkens over time too, I'll be due for new tyres for next summer I would imagine.

Had 452's on my old beemer, never had any issues even better in the wet, mate also had them on his monaro VXR and again know issues.

done about 1200 in it so far, but 1k of those running in, trouble is every time the weekend comes around it decides to pour down, I`m going to go to Brands tomorrow to watch the truck racing, but think I`ll take the truck instead as the weather for tomorrow looks pretty aweful

think I`ll have to give it a bit more respect than the old rv8 though, it does like to spin around and head in the other direction if you`re not careful, perhaps it wants to go back to its nice cosy garage

or its frightened I`ll take it to a Welsh town called Owestry

on my second set of 452s on the griff...always been very impressed! brilliant wet grip in particular especially standing water and running them in is a cinch due to their soft compound

Cheers, do you mind me asking what they cost, are they off the shelf or custom made to suit offset needs and did you measure your offsets or go with one of the figures I've seen posted on the site?

offsets were 40 on the rear and 23 on the front, as for tyre size, advise on a 40 profile instead of a 45 on the front, as the tyre rubs on full lock on the fuse box area of the inner wing on the nearside.

sorry, can`t advise on price, but they are made to suit if not already on the shelf.
