Hi

I am in the process of restoring my Mk2 XR2 and want to know the best method for restoring various metal components. From their current condition, they have never been cleaned or treated before.

I want to clean up the following:

Exhaust (at least the last 1ft which is visible
Suspension components (springs, dampers, wishbones etc)
Radiator
Alternator

Thoughts please!

Max

For the exhaust some 00 grade wire wool and some Autosol metal polish. For brake calipers, springs, dampers and the underside or greasy areas then spend time looking at what Bilt Hamber can provide you with!
