53 plate e46 sat nav

[pitbull turbo]

hi guys i have been trying to work out how to use the sat nav in my 53 plate e46 330 cab and it seams like you can't use postcodes to find places on it, am i missing something and if there isn't one on there can it be upgraded and how much would it be?
thanks

If you get an updated disc from the likes of ebay you'll be able to use postcode search.

ok thought that might be the case.
i have seen some online from places like bmw-map.co.uk that have 09 maps and postcode options and speed cameras on there too. will this work just like the bmw disc and be as smooth and well thought out as i don't want to ruin the way the interface for everything works.
thanks
