Truffles in the uk

Anyone know of anybody who has found these in the uk?
my son and I think we have found some.
we going back today to see if they have matured.
any experiences would be helpful......... thanks

they do grow in the UK, i saw some geezer called mike something or other (celeb chef) mooching round for them in woods somewhere. iirc he has a pub down south called the pot kiln.

ETA his name was mike robinson.

yes they do exist - but they are "only" summer truffles, not the more expensive black or white ones
